What are player wages?
Wages are the costs you pay to keep a player in your team. Wages are paid weekly.
Wages are reassessed at the commencement of each new season to consider changes in skill levels through training/skill decay.
Be careful with your total wage bill – if your wages are too high, you may have to sell a player or two to survive!
NB: The way players’ wages are worked out changed from season 61. See the bottom of the page for old wage details.
Wages from Season 61 onwards
The following contains broad details of the wage changes implemented February 16, 2024:
* Players will see a moderate increase for the wage of the main primary – this is defined as their highest primary at the wage update.
* Players will see a moderate decrease for the wage of their secondary/tertiary/etc primaries – again defined as above.
* Players will see a moderate increase for the wage of their main secondary – as defined by their main primary.
* Players will see a moderate decrease for the wage of other secondaries – also defined as above.
* Stamina will have a negligible effect on wages.
What does this mean in real terms? Here are a few examples:
* A player with Sensational batting/bowling and Sensational concentration/consistency while all other skills are low will see a noticeable wage increase.
* A player with Sensational in both batting and keeping and Sensational concentration will see a moderate wage decrease.
* All-rounders would see a moderate decrease in wages.
* Wicketkeeper-batters would see a moderate decrease in wages.
