It’s Season 40. Alvin ‘Stardust’ Zibi is 50. 20 seasons ago he led us to within touching distance of the FC Prem title. This after he’d led us from the v depths of the BT system, including a 4 season long unbeaten run.

Now, 5 RL years after unveiling a statue of our 1st great, it’s perfect time to honour our greatest great.

We present the Alvin Zibi statue.

Artist Paolo Bakero said “I captured the signature ‘captain’s thinking pose’ Alvin adopted at slip. I included both a bat and ball because he was prolific with both. He was a master tactician & all rounder who raised his game to whatever level he played at”.
