There are a number of sources of income for your club:
- Gate receipts – money from match attendance
- Sponsorship – money from your club sponsors
- Interest – money earned on your savings
- Transfer market – money earned from selling players
- Prizes – money earned from finishing match competitions
- Miscellaneous – money from transfers & random stuff
It is vital that you try to maximise the income you receive from each of these sources:
Gate receipts | Keep club members happy so they attend matches. Have a long run in the Cup. Ensure your home FC matches go for 3 days, not less. Play Friendly matches on your days off. |
Sponsorship | Employ PR Officers. Try to win all your competitive matches. |
Interest | Have at least $1.6m in the bank. Employ Financial Advisors. |
Transfer market | Buy low, sell high Keep an eye out for bargains and seasonal trends. |
Prize money | Try to win all your leagues. |
FC Subsidy for teams in non-FC countries
For any team that moves to a non-FC playing country, there will be a FC subsidy paid to those teams in lieu of playing FC.
The subsidy is based on your OD division and is payable at the following rates as of November 2022:
- Division 1: £138,500 per week
- Division 2: £110,500 per week
- Division 3: £83,000 per week
- Division 4: £55,000 per week
The subsidy is paid in all 16 weeks of the season, and not just the weeks where FC matches would have been played.
This will be reviewed regularly according to the formula and updates made more often.
